I am a licensed clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Gender and Women Studies from the University of Delaware. I also received a minor in domestic violence prevention and services. I then went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I also received a post baccalaureate certificate in gender violence. I have almost 3 years of experience in outpatient mental health counseling. I also have experience with inpatient and crisis mental health services. Lastly I have experience working with victims of domestic violence in multiple settings. I have worked with an array of clients from different genders, ages, sexualities, cultures etc. Most of my experience involves helping people with their  anxiety and depression and managing interpersonal relationships. However I have also helped clients with other things such as ADHD, OCD and Bipolar. While I have various experiences I work solely with individuals who are 16+.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a space where you feel comfortable and safe as I am very aware of the courage it takes to seek help. It is ok to not be ok and I'm here to help! My other goal is to make my clients feel heard, seen, and validated.

I utilize an array of different modalities for treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing (MI). I also focus on a strengths based and client centered perspective. I believe you are the expert of your own life so I am here to listen, support, and educate to help guide you towards living your best life possible.

Please reach out via phone or email if you think we would be a good fit! I look forward to helping you on this journey!
